You are mine!

“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are Mine.”— Isaiah 43:1

Can you hear it? The voice of the Lord of the universe…

whispering and declaring:“You are Mine.”

This isn’t poetic symbolism or distant theology. This is the burning reality of a God who loves with wild, holy passion.

The One who hung the stars calls you His own.

The same hands that formed galaxies were stretched out—naked, pierced, and bleeding—on a cross to say to the world:

“I choose you. I want you. You are Mine.”

When Jesus died, it wasn’t a quiet death. It was a shameful one—stripped, mocked, and exposed before an accusing crowd. And He endured it all so He could take our shame… and replace it with His love.

This truth is almost too great for the human heart to comprehend.

Why would the Lord of all creation—the Alpha and Omega, the King of Glory—say to you and me:“You are Mine”?

Because His love isn’t transactional. It’s covenantal.Because He is not passive about His people.

He is jealous for us.

He longs for loyalty, faithfulness, and intimacy—just as a husband longs for his bride.

That’s why Jesus speaks the language of marriage.

He doesn’t just call us His followers… He calls us:

“My Bride.”

“You are Mine.”

This is not ownership rooted in control—it’s rooted in covenant. It’s the safest place we’ll ever belong.

So today, let this truth wash over you: The Lord of the universe doesn’t just tolerate you.

He wants you.

He fights for you.

He claims you.

And He isn’t whispering it in secret—He’s declaring it before heaven and earth:

“You are Mine.”
