""My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me." — John 10:27
Jesus did not leave us alone. Before He ascended, He promised something greater—a Helper, a Guide, a constant Presence. The Holy Spirit.
Why did Jesus have to go? Because the plan was never just to walk beside us—it was for His Spirit to dwell within us.
The Holy Spirit doesn’t speak on His own. He speaks only what He hears from Jesus. His voice is not separate from Christ’s—it is the voice of Christ. And today, that voice is still speaking.
"13 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.14 He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you.15 All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you."-John 16:13-15
He whispers peace in our chaos. He brings clarity to our confusion. He gives direction when we feel lost.He reveals Jesus when we need Him most.
To follow Jesus is to listen for the Spirit—for His promptings, His nudges, His comfort, His correction. He is the breath of God within us, and only in Him do we find life and direction.
"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you." - John 14:26
Let’s lean in.
Let’s listen.
His voice still leads the way.
