We were not supposed to be here.

Not as believers.

Not as bold ones.

Not as women who speak, write, lead, and love Jesus with unashamed devotion.

And yet—here we are.

Behind the Veil, We Found Fire

For generations, we were taught to lower our gaze, quiet our voices, and live behind both literal and invisible veils.

Veils of shame.

Veils of fear.

Veils of religious duty and cultural silence.

But even in the hidden places, God was speaking.Even in the darkness, He was calling our names.

Even when our voices trembled, something deeper stirred—a holy courage, rising not from rebellion, but from revelation.

The Cost of Living Unveiled

To follow Jesus as a woman from a Muslim background is not a casual decision—it’s a collision.

A collision of faith and family.

Of calling and culture.

Of truth and tradition.

Some of us lost mothers, brothers, and the only homes we’d ever known.Some of us lost our marriages—and with them, the right to raise our own children.Some of us still whisper His name behind locked doors.Some of us delete and reinstall our Bible apps—over and over—just to stay one step ahead of being found out.Some of us smile in public but cry in secret, carrying both faith and fear in the same heart.And some of us… lost our lives—but gained eternity.They may be gone from this world, but their voices still echo in ours.

And yet—we keep walking.

Because to live unveiled is to live free.

And freedom is worth everything.
